The Government of São Paulo, through the State Comptroller General (CGE-SP) and the São Paulo Pension Fund (SPPREV), conducted a wide audit of pensions and pension benefits paid by the State.
In total, 138 irregular processes were identified and immediately eliminated, resulting in a saving of over R$ 487 million for the public coffers.
In all cases identified by the “Corrective Fine Mesh” project, the beneficiaries were no longer entitled to receive the subsidies. In addition to this initiative, CGE-SP has launched 69 more projects aimed at identifying and repairing damages to public funds.
The goal of these actions is to modernize the public administration, implementing supervision and management measures that ensure greater transparency and efficiency in the provision of services to citizens.
Ongoing since last year, the Anti-Corruption Radar fulfills the commitment made by the Government of São Paulo to promote actions for greater integrity and transparency in state management.
Divided into 88 actions, the program establishes permanent compliance guidelines – a set of legal and ethical standards, as well as governance regulations – for the São Paulo public administration.
