Through data gathered by police officers who traveled to the United States, the Federal Police obtained unpublished images and interviews confirming details of the jewels that composed the so-called “white gold kit” that Jair Bolsonaro illegally appropriated while still in office.
“The images, documents, and interviews also point to the involvement of a new individual in the clandestine operation.
The ‘white gold kit,’ a set of jewelry received by Bolsonaro during his official visit to Saudi Arabia in October 2019, includes a ring, pen, cufflinks, and an Islamic rosary (‘masbaha’), all pieces adorned with diamonds.
The set also included a Rolex watch, which was sold separately at a store in Pennsylvania. In total, the set was valued at at least R$ 500,000,” reports journalist Bela Megale in her column in the newspaper O Globo.
