The Lula government has made available just over R$ 6 million for ceremonies at the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
The contract duration is one year. The order includes services such as waiters, servers, tableware, and vehicles to transport guests.
According to the request, divided into ten categories, the initiative is for the “organization and promotion of events on demand at the IBGE premises, hotels, or other facilities, to be coordinated by the IBGE, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, according to conditions, quantities, and requirements”.

Drinks range from juices, mineral water to soft drinks.In addition to coffee and teas, the brunch will feature a cold cuts platter, bread basket, jams, pastas, pies, savory snacks, risottos, meats, chicken, fish, chicken salad, among others.
IBGE’s ResponseTo the west, IBGE stated that the order is “to meet the IBGE’s events calendar, 2nd semester 2024 and 1st semester 2025, without the obligation to contract all items tendered”.
Regarding internal events, including internal trainings and conferences, IBGE noted that “each event has its own characteristics that lead us to have a range of items for attending to each request”.Read also:
