There is a line that comes out of the headlights and crosses the grille, now divided by a new design, in addition to the new bumper.
In the rear, on the other hand, the bumper has a more robust look and the design follows the front with a line that interconnects the lights. Speaking of taillights, they are LED, made with different materials, and with a new signature.
The interior has gained new panels with more details, “soft-touch” coverings, and contrast stitching.The armrest is covered in vinyl, while the seats have been revamped and now feature unique costumes, always with the inscription “T-Cross” at the top.
The multimedia system features a 10.1″ screen with APP-Connect (Apple Carplay and Android Auto) and smartphone internet connection.The trunk has a capacity of 373 liters/420 liters, according to VDA measurement.
EngineIn terms of engine, the SUV continues with the 200 TSI engines (present in the 200 and Comfortline versions) and 250 TSI (Highline), with 128 hp and 20.4 kgfm, and 150 hp and 25.5 kgfm, respectively, linked to a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The sets allow the vehicle to reach 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and 10 seconds.SafetyThe novelty for all versions in terms of safety is the autonomous emergency braking system with pedestrian recognition, as well as the fatigue sensor and the audible and visual alert for the use of the front and rear seat belts.
For the top-of-the-line configuration, the Highline, Volks added the “ADAS” package, which includes parking assist (Park Assist), blind spot detection with rear cross-traffic alert and active lane change assist (Lane Assist).
The 200, Comfortline, and Highline versions are equipped with adaptive speed and distance control, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, six airbags (two frontal, two lateral in the front seats, and two curtain airbags).
The list of equipment is completed by: child seat fastening with ISOFIX system, ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability control, traction control and electronic differential lock, hill start assist, maneuvering brake function, among others.
ColorsThe T-Cross has the Ascot Gray color for the Highline version, exclusive to the Dark package. In addition, six other options are available: Ninja Black, Pure White, Platinum Gray, Sunset Red, Pyrit Silver, and Norway Blue.
The Highline has the option of the Dark pack, which includes black painted roof and mirrors in Ninja Black color, longitudinal black roof rack, darkened 17” alloy wheels, darkened logos on the side and rear, and Seal Inside tires.
OptionalFor the 200 TSI, there is the option of the Interactive package, which includes a rearview camera, electrically adjustable and foldable external mirrors with tilt-down function on the right side, 17” alloy wheels, and front parking sensor.
For Comfortline, there are two optional packages. They are the “Sky View II,” with a panoramic sunroof, automatic anti-glare rearview mirror, rain sensor, and two front reading lights; and the “Design View,” with partially leather seats, darkened columns and ceilings.
