The television audience for the Grammy Awards on Sunday increased by 34% compared to last year to an average of 16.9 million people, reported CBS on Monday.
The audience was the highest for the biggest music awards show since the pre-pandemic ceremony in 2020, CBS said.
Taylor Swift made history on Sunday by winning an unprecedented fourth Album of the Year award with her pop record “Midnights”. Women claimed the top prizes.
CBS said the live audience for the show on streaming service Paramount+ reached a record, jumping 173% compared to the previous year, but did not provide the streaming audience size.
