The television audience for the Grammy Awards on Sunday increased by 34% compared to last year to an average of 16.9 million people, reported CBS on Monday.

The audience was the highest for the biggest music awards show since the pre-pandemic ceremony in 2020, CBS said.

CBS said the live audience for the show on streaming service Paramount+ reached a record, jumping 173% compared to the previous year, but did not provide the streaming audience size.
